I just installed them on my Harley Davidson truck 2010, amazing..

Easy to install, I just need to wire up the LEDS, I didn't want to mess with that till my buddy passes by to wire connect them..

I saw on YouTube people put hids on them.. Good idea or no?

Looks good. What model are they? Do I just take out stock and put in new, or a lot of wiring needed? How hard is it to take out stock?

Got the recon headlights and thought that they all come in ccfl. Got really upset when the lights didn't show during the day. Any thing can be done to upgrade or should i change the entire unit.

IMO, it would be easier to return the lights asked get some with ccfl's already installed.

A return would not be possible.

Here is another option for those who are viewing this thread. These are Spyder headlights I got off feebay for $220 shipped including the slim HID kit! They look just like the Recon in fact im willing to bet they are made in the same Chinese factory! Other site members have had these for over 2 years with no problems. I have had mine for just over a month. Mine are 4300K as I hate blue light! Constantly get compliments! The halo is visible during the day, up close not so much but from 10+ feet back you can see em! When the sun goes down they are simply amazing!
