Yeah and in this case makes the owner very unhappy when they have to drop the tank.

I would also flush the coolant and the brake fluid. There aren't any plug wires so you only have the plugs to replace.

This would be my list on a used vehicle:
Air filter
oil & filter
diff service
service trans
replace plugs
flush coolant
flush brake fluid
Check all belts
check all rubber hoses
visual inspection of brake pads
jack up front end and check ball joints as well as inner & outer tie rods
Check shocks & struts for leaks
double check TQ on all lug nuts

Oh and btw, it doesnt have wires. It has COPs(Coil On Plug). IIRC they require a 8mm to remove.

The fuel filter is one piece with the in tank fuel pump, it requires no servicing.

2004 Ford dropped the inline fuel filter and put it in the tank. Cant say im a fan of it being in the tank and non serviceable because i have changed some dirty *** inline filters!

This is an older resurrected thread, but I'll chime in...

I found out the hard way that the serpentine belt tensioners have a limited lifespan. It's recommended to change them out when you change the belts.

It cost me an A/C compressor and an alternator before I figured out what was chattering under my hood...ouch.
