Quality is never cheap.

Check out this place for a quality weld on alternative. There are also plenty of other tip designs to choose from on their site. I got 2 of these installed when I had my exhaust done 6 months ago and they are holding up great. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, just happy with the tips I got from them and the price I got them for.
