Default Rear window Wow

So I have a load in the bed and it slightly presses on rolled up cover and pushes the passenger divider of the three piece rear window setup . Pop the passenger window explodes. The window cracked was the fixed one on the passenger side. The three window set up has electric operating window in the middle and electric defroster.

Now I'm quoted $837 to fix it wow. They tell me the whole unit must be replaced (all three windows), which includes electric motor. I called ford the quoted me $667 for the window setup.

My question is does this seem to sound correct?
At first I figured I would have to replace the one window no biggie so I'm kind of shocked .

Unfortunately this is correct, they are very expensive. I broke mine and sure enough the whole thing had to be changed.

Luckily my insurance covered broken glass on any window and there was no excess or effect on my premiums.

For a little over $500 you can get an OEM Ford manual 3 piece slide window. You dont even have to get it from Ford.......find out which glass company in town services the Ford dealer and have them get it and install it

The motor part sounds like BS.

I've been behind there, and the motor is not near the glass.

That's too true! Here in Dubai, Ford wanted USD2450 to replace the tinted version in my Raptor (parts+labor).

That's just robbery. Not only that but the window took 8weeks to reach me!

My insurance told me I have a $500 deductible.
So it will be a $500 lesson to keep clear of that window in the future.

Exactly, or next time remove bed cover completely when hauling gear!
