Our problem is overheating elements for the rear defrost. I can't see how that would affect the corners and seal of the glass. You've got an actual hole. Are you sure it wasn't some other kind of problem?

I met with our local ford dealer and he was very helpful. He stated no recall ( which I knew) but also said that from what he looked at - He thinks the heating element attached to the rear defroster over heated the wiring that goes across the rear windows. And that would create an explosion - hence the windows blowing out.

I made it clear to ford at their 1800 number (twice) and to the rep at our local ford shop - That my only concern is that driving at 60 MPH with kids in the back of the truck could cause the kids harm from the glass blowing or getting into an accident from the loud explosion sound.
I took a video from inside the truck - see attached-

(It's not 100% confirmed what caused it- Above is only an educated guess from rep and I think he's onto something)

Unless you hire an attorney and they have many, many on staff, they dont care.
