I agree. After being enticed by all the tubs and home made storage bins, I saw a post last year when someone just used duffle bags (maybe you). Duh! That makes much more sense. Tools in one, straps in another, etc. You can grab the bag you need and take it out in a second. Saves you money too.

Duhah is a waste of money, I built one myself with carpet on it to match factory carpet and it looks 100x better than duhah. There are pics in that thread someone linked earlier. Took me less than two hours and I used damaged wood I got for like two dollars at menards. All the damaged spots were cut off so the finished product is perfect!

Checkout the link in this post. It ay not look like much but I put a bunch of tools, emergency stuff, gallon gas can etc back there. Seats still fold up fine.

I got my du-ha from someone at work along withe the factory f150 rubber floor mats for $100. I think it's great. I can store all kinds of stuff there and they have gun cut outs in the section dividers.

Default rear upright seat release

Just where is this mystery rear seat release? I can't seem to find it - why would it be so well hidden?

Just to give you an idea of how much I put behind the seats in mine tonight:

Behind single seat on passenger side
-Blanket rolled up
-1 gallon gas container (for emergencies, if run out of fuel)

In the small underseat storage I have my SCT tuner, and an engine code reader.
Gas in the cab of the truck? Not here in west Texas, the fumes would be too strong after a few hours in the heat. Unless it's in a non vented can, which is not a good idea either.

Why have a code reader and the SCT tuner? I have my SCT in the same place. My SCT tuner reads the codes also. By removing the added weight of the code reader, your mileage will increase by 0.0001 mpg. Lol

Check the links posted above. It helps to fold up the seat bottoms, then release the latch. The latch is 4-6" below the top of the seat on each side. Once you get it open, you will think "how did I do that". You will also notice the latch has a sliding pin on the wall side, this allows the seat back to slide up and down when the seat bottom is folded up or down. Ford should have put a cable or pull string on these latches.

This gives me an idea. You know those emergency pull handles you see inside of car trunks? Maybe I could get some of those and clamp the cable of it to the latch. That would be cool, I'll have to check into it.
