Rear license plate, 4 screws possible?
I know the rear plate mount on the bumper only has two holes, but I'm wondering if it's possible to add 2 more screws on the bottom portion of the license plate. Is there any wires or anything in the way in the back of the bumper (I'd hate for the screws to run into a harness)? Seems cheap that most auto makers only give us 2 screw holes now days.
I have a set of anti-theft plate screws that I'm wanting to use is why I'm asking by the way. 4 is better than 2 to deter/slow down potential thefts. Thanks for your help! |
I put 4 in mine. I bought the kit from Advance Auto Parts with the white plastic pieces that snap into the holes you drill.

I just drilled a starter hole for the bottom two and put a screw in it.

Can you provide a link to this kit? I thought the screws by themselves would be enough to bite into the plastic bumper?
