Some days you should just stay in bed... Over the holidays I hauled my fifth wheel trailer from Ontario to Key West and back. A total of over 4500 miles return trip. Hauled through all sorts of nasty weather. Not one single problem.

Then a few days after I get home, some woman not paying attention rear ends me less than a mile from my house. DAMN! As can be seen by the pictures she came out worse for it. I'll need a new bumper, misc plastic bits etc. Pi__es me off though.

No body damage to your truck - so that's good.
Glad you're okay.

Looks like even if you left your hitch in, it wouldn't have prevented damage to your bumper.

Seeing how it needs to be replaced anyways, maybe research a heavy duty replacement?

Sucks man. I here you on staying in bed though. I got rearended in my work truck a few weeks ago. Slammed on the breaks for a moose in the road and the dud that was riding my bumper was not paying attention. Wasnt able to get any pics but his dodge was totaled and the only indication on my truck was some white paint on the back of the deck.why cant people just put the distractions down and drive. That includes smokeing eating etc. Now i eat my fries and sip on a coke but pull over for my burger. And yes smoking while driving should be banned as well. Or at least ban lighting of the cigarette.

It always seems that people with junker cars just don't pay as much attention. Looks like that car caused more damage to your truck then the cars worth haha

This! You also ever notice the jackass riding your bumper when you're in the SLOW lane is always a ****box/old BMW? Or the guy who road rages on you for the most minute thing ALWAYS drives a ****box? Interesting eh?
