Rear differential noise
Hey guys I need a little help here. I drive a f150 reg cab 2010, since I bought it two years ago the rear differential grinds and have some vibrations while turning slowly. It just happens after driving 30 or + in highway. It looks like the u joints are messed up but they're ok. Any ideas? I already changed the clutch and the oil and it's still happening. Please help!

My first thought was that your LS clutch pack was shot! But you headed off that idea...
Hmmm, so you replaced the clutch pack, eh? Did you "condition" the friction plates before installing them? An old trick we used to do was soak the friction plates in tranny fluid for a few hours before installing. It kept the new-clutch chatter to a minimum.
Did you put posi additive in the oil fill, or did you just get oil that had the additive already in it? If the latter, you might put some additive in. Then drive enough to get everything good an warm, then drive in circles in a parking lot a few times.
How did the spider gears look?
