Mine only works on 3 wires. Brought it to the dealership and they said it may be a problem warranty-wise as couple stands are scraped. Let's see how this plays out.................

I tried this. But it didn't work. When i press on the tab that has the sensor and turn on the rear defroster it works fine. It stays on for a minute or so when i let go and then turns off

Unhappy Rear Defrost does not work as window will not close properly.

I have a 2010 F150 Platinum Model. Nothing but problems with it so far. My rear defroster stopped working a few weeks ago. From what I gather after taking off the Plastic Face plate by sliding it up and pulling it forward there are 2 sets of contact tabs that make contact with two different contact tabs on the stationary window. I noticed then that the window was no longer closing properly. When I pushed it closed they made contact, however, not good contact. I cleaned up the contacts and tested continuity, but it still does not work. The Window will open fully but will not close all the way and there appears that some plastic Piece (Piece of Junk) is broken. Not sure if there is some other type of switch that activates the circuit which may be the problem. I am looking into it further...

There's a bad batch of rear power slide windows. I just had mine replaced under warranty a couple of weeks ago. My defroster would also not work.

Same problem here, went out to my truck yesterday morning, turned on the front defrost, hit the button for the rear and side mirrors and nothing. Took it to the dealer yesterday and they are replacing the rear window under warranty. Dealer said power was getting to the contacts, but not thru the rear window. Only bummer is I will have to replace my window stickers I had made.

Default Took 4 tries to get it working

Rear Defroster and heated mirrors.. 1st trip they said it needed a module not in stock, 2nd trip the wrong part in the box, 3rd trip module didn't fix it, 4th trip replaced complete rear window and all is now working. All warranty work.. 2013 F-150 Ecoboost ,Screw, King Ranch, 1100 miles

Out if curiosity for those who've had this issue covered under warranty. Was it the 36 month or 36000 miles bumper to bumper? Mine just decided to give me this issue and I am super close to the 36000 miles.
Thanks

Just got my truck back a week ago to get the rear sliding window replaced. I have the extended warranty, I think it's 76k miles. Truck was at 32,000 miles at the time though, so it shouldn't have mattered for me.
