Default real world mpg for 5.0 4x4.

Well guys I got me a new truck. She is a 5.0 lariat super crew 4x4. I just got some 5 star tunes in. What are yalls real world mpg. I am averaging around 12 city and like 17 highway. I know that I will get better milage the more she breaks in. I guess I am used to my 09. I could get 14 city and like 20 on the highway. But those numbers were driving really slow.

Thanks nickel

Whether or not my dash is correct or not, it shows 14.8 MPG after 60,000 miles.

Sorry to break the images up, but I started resetting my Trip B between oil changes

First 19 months of ownership from February 2012 to Sept 2013 and ~18k miles:

Next 5 months from Sept 2013 to Feb 2014 ( Sorry for the mileage in km, but this was just over 7000miles at 17.2US MPG)

From February 2014 to present day. Lots of snow and cold this winter

I hunt in the fall, haul my ATV around in the spring and summer, and haul my snowmobile around in the winter, along with lots of driving in winter storms in 4x4.

Specs:

2012 FX4 with 3.73s and LT Tires. I do have a tonneau cover. Just as a comparison, this was my mileage on my 2011 Ecoboost with 17 inch P-Rated tires, and 3.31 rear end from July 2011 until end of January 2012. These 5.0L's are just awesome for mileage.

The truck says 17.6 lifetime, my spreadsheet says 16.9. That includes towing and a couple thousand miles in 4wd.

I borrowed a friends truck a few weeks ago to take it camping.

2011 XLT SCREW, 5.0, 4x4, 3.73's.

From Vegas to Flagstaff and back.

Averaged 22-24 at 60mph but I can't drive that damn slow, was closer to 16-17 at 75-80mph.
