Well, truth be told, that''s pretty close to my 3.7L........I was driving 80+ on the interstate and these things are like barn doors. I'm not complaining, but still..... its weird that Ford offers three engines which get practically the same mileage.

I have 70,000km on my 2011 fx4 5.0l with a 3.73 rear end. I drive 70/30 mix of hwy/city driving. I average 13.0-13.5l/100km (would guess around 20mpg). All hwy trips I have seen as low as 11.5l/100km.

I have 11,000ish miles. Average 17-18mpg. Drive 70mph on highway and probably do 60-70% highway driving.

34'' tires, leveling kit and 5star tuner.
