as I already said ... I have done the math to adjust for the increased tire size. my dash computer currently shows 13.8 (lower than normal for me) ... multiply by 1.07 for the bigger tires and I am at about 15 mpg for real.

here's the math ...
1 mile = 5,280 feet
31.9" stock pirelli tires = 100.166" circumference = 52.71 revolutions per mile
34.1" Nitto TG's = 107.074" circumference = 49.31 revolutions per mile
52.71 divided by 49.31 = 1.068 factor to multiply my computer reading to adjust for increased tire size.
13.8 x 1.068 = 14.75
It just dropped below 14 the other day cuz I got my "insurance watch dog" taken off my truck (got an 18% discount on my insurance for good driving) ... and I floored it quite a bit just to play around since I had not been able to do that in 3 months.
So, if I go with what I WAS getting when driving normally for me, I was at about 14.2 MPG according to my on-board computer.
14.2 MPG x 1.068 = 15.16 MPG ...
so like I said, I am truly getting "about 15 MPG" ... in the stop/go city driving I mostly do ...
When on the hwy, I get about 3 MPG more, but that's because I'm usually driving between 75-80 MPH ... if I were to drive about 65-70, I'm sure it would be about 5 MPG more than city ...
I'm also "lucky" because I don't pay for my gas, my company pays for it. I have an allowance that is plenty to cover my fuel costs in this truck w/out going over what I'm given, and they also pay for regular or mid-grade (not premium) ... so I fill up with 89 octane.
that said, even if I were paying for my own gas, I'd still use 89 octane, and would drive no differently. I didn't buy this truck for the fuel economy, and refuse to limit my driving due to total mileage or gas prices. It's just one of those things in life that you have to deal with ... "it is what it is" ...
EDIT TO ADD: I should have mentioned, along with all the specs of my truck, that down here in Louisiana the A/C is usually ALWAYS on ... which of course has an effect on the MPG I'm getting ...

i have 33x12.5 MT's with a really light foot, almost all of my 40 miles a day are interstate driving between 65 and 75 MPH. im not impressed, but ya, i know, "you dont buy a truck for the gas mileage"

I get about 13.8, but that is with about 95% city driving.
Now when I went to KC from St. Louis, I got about 21.4 on the way out and about 19.8 towing a vehicle trailer with an '80 vette.
