Stereo Distortion when first starting truck?
2010 F150 Super Crew with the standard XLT single-disc stereo.
When I first start the vehicle, the sound coming from the stereo is very distorted. I don't have the volume cranked up at all, bass is mid-point. After a few seconds, the distortion goes away. It's almost like there's a secondary amp or something that comes online to give enough power to properly drive the speakers.
Is this normal? Or do I have an issue I need the dealer to look at when I go back in?
Thanks!

Mine does it too. Sounds like speaker buzz from the left front of the cab. Dealer looked at it and listened to it, claimed they'd never heard of the problem. It will only do it if the stereo is ON when I start the truck. I'm told that the SYNC receiver is in or near the left door speaker, that seems to be where it's coming from. Dealer told me 2 months ago they'd get with Ford on a solution, I never heard back. Next time I go out there I'm going to push it a little harder.
