Default Raptor Rims and Retreads on My Lariat

Ok, so since I got my truck I have babied it with the utmost care. Then I got to thinking about some of the reasons I bought it, LIKE ACTUALLY USING IT! It was then I decided that since I am paying for it I may as well use it to do what I wanna do, like take it off-road, go hunting, haul stuff, and take trips. Its a 2011 Lariat, White Platinum tricoat, 4x4 Ecoscrew with 20" chrome clad wheels and nearly 35" BFG's. I have a 2.5" level too <--no rubbing

Anyhow, it would still hurt to go out and scratch/wear out my new rims and tires worth around $2500 just to see them all the time and think to myself "man, those look like poop..." So, I decided to get some new rims and tires as seasonal replacements. I was gonna go aftermarket and looked around only to find out that it was already looking like similar rims and tires were gonna cost me about 2 grand also. Nevertheless, I got a great deal and picked up (5) raptor rims for $600 shipped! Then, I went to Treadwright.com and picked up some 315/70/17 Guard Dog M/T's and I hope like HELL they fit So, they come in 4 days after Christmas and are already on a truck somewhere on the way. These tires are sweet and a great deal. Mine were $700 bucks shipped and I will be putting them through some rough stuff to give them a fair review. Now, here is a teaser picture before I get them. Yall have to wait like me to see em....

Maybe not but I'll bet you could sell them and pick up some raptor rims for cheap. Lotta people seem to be dang near giving them away. Heck, I couldn't hardly get crappy trailer rims and tires for what I paid for these raptor rims. I hope they look good on my truck, I don't think I have seen raptor rims on a non raptor truck yet....

Yeah i have seen some cheap ones around... any where from 600-700 bucks a set. I would happy to get that for my 20's. Don't get me wrong i love the rims, just tires are a lot cheaper in 17" size and the selection for sizes and brands is so much great in that rim size

315/70-17's?

Quite a bit bigger than stock.
I think you will be doing some trimming, adding a leveling, or perhaps both. Especially with those big lugs on the edges of the tires.

I do like the Raptor wheels on the regular F150's, but I went with more modest 285/70R17 Blizzak's. Even with this size, I get a tiny bit of rubbing at full lock under compression.

I currently have 34.4" BFG's on my truck with a 2.5" BDS. No rubbing lock to lock with my stock 20" rims. The tires will be the same width and height, just 17" rims. The tires are the same width and height. Here they are!!! I'm outta town so I can't install them yet. I love them from 800 miles away!

Does that company always re-tred BFG's? OR do they retread other brands?? I like the looks and price of those tires.. guess its time for some rims come tax return time

Ok...Got her all mounted up yesterday. I think it looks good. They ride super nice. I don't know why but they feel like they ride better than my BFG's on my 20" rims...Only thing is, I can hear these a little on the road but its actually fairly quiet...

@SURELLY09 - Regarding the brands Treadwright uses to put their own on differs. I specified that I wanted BFG in particular but they use 3 or 4 different ones if I am not mistaken. All you need to do is specify what shells you want, and they usually hook you up. I told them what I wanted and they said it might take awhile to get some in, but it didnt. I had a confirmation number two days after I ordered...

Here they are. whatchall thank?

What do you mean by balance out? As far as in how many counter weights were needed per wheel? I actually do not recall seeing a single one...
