Default Raptor retrofit

So I've been trying to order a set of headlights since the second week of November. I've got nothing but no response or "couple more weeks". Anyone have any experience with them ? Product looks great but customer service very poor and haven't even ordered yet. I also offered to pay up front, just to know i was in line, but that wasn't an option either. Anyone used someone else they would recommend or wait it out?

They are one of the better guys in the business. I had good dealings with them.

What are you looking to get done!

Something strange going on with them, I originally contacted them back in early November about getting a pair of switchback led lights for my 15. The email communication was fast and informative so I requested a set to be made. They said they would contact me when complete, the wait was supposed to be 4-5 weeks. I have tried multiple times over the last couple of weeks to contact them but no response.

Dawson is way overbooked.. I think he might be a one man show, if anything he has a couple of assistants. I got into wreck in my FX4 & had to have both my retrofits replaced, communication was slow but he is shipping them out next week.

Be patience, he'll get to ya.

Give him a chance. Dawson is just a regular guy with a wife and kids that happens to make killer headlights. He's been working with the Raptor community for about 5 years and has a stellar record. He could have a sick kid or as said above simply be overbooked.

I have a set of his retrofits and they are still flawless after two Virginia winters. Keep trying to reach him.

Just curious what these headlights look like. Can you post a picture?

He does incredible work so if you do decide the wait it out or at least give him the chance, you won't be disappointed. I had him do a retrofit for me about 4 years ago when he didn't have that much going on and I was very impressed with the quality and work done.

Hell I still see that truck driving around from time to time and it still has the retrofit and still looks amazing.

All retrofitters get booked up.

I went with Bilinvic-retrofits.com and by the time I finally pulled the trigger it was a 5 month wait because he had so many. He is one man and very meticulous. There are certain factors such as paint cure time that add to the time. Bil waits 3 weeks for off gassing. If put back together too soon the lens will haze because of gas.

It was worth the wait and I had plenty of time to research my paint combos and options.

This is a set he did, these look almost exactly like mine but turn signal area is tinted dark. The buckets are color matched to my truck, shroud around projector is flat black. He starts with brand new FX4 heads.

I've also had mine for almost two years in Va with no issues. I did have a ballast go bad and he was easy to contact and had me a new one drop shipped from supplier. I did have old ballasts so I wasn't down at all. I now keep a set of ballasts and bulbs just in case.

Hey guys, we have just over 65 builds in the books right now. Sorry if its taking a while to get to your build but if we have you on the list we will contact you as soon as we can start.

We do not take deposits - people get angry if one day passes past the estimated wait time.

We get hundreds of emails a week, we try and reply to everyone but if your asking several times if your builds up you probably will not get a response. Sit tight, we will get on touch as soon as we can start your build. Also if you are contacting us through the website please double check that you entered your email correctly, we get at least one a week that gets sent back to us by the server because the email does not exist.
