Raptor Rear Tow Hooks on F150
#112
It Stinks in Here...
I got mine installed last night. I was able to come up with some u-bolts here at work that fit perfectly (part number N131641 from John Deere). I also used flanged lock nuts so they won't come loose. I have about $40 in the project between the hooks and hardware. The hooks came from Ebay.

here's my take on the tow hooks -
the only Ford ones I could find at the junk yard were off an Expedition and they were just too big (tried to install them but it just didn't work). I found a set off an old chevy. Junk yard charged me $5.00 each and the hooks are open
someone mentioned in another thread that Autozone sells a leaf spring repair kit for $16.00 - read up and it says the kit is grade 8 kind of had to bend them a little but they worked
probably never use them but it's good to have

Put mine on last weekend, they were takeoffs from my 03. scratched them up and painted with semi-flat black. Fasteners came from AutoZone. I had to narrow the threaded end ever so slightly...cost = 1 can paint +1 U-bolt kit = $14.
