I finally did this today. I ordered used hooks on ebay and went to the local spring shop for square u-bolts. Resprayed the hooks and they bolted on easy. I like the look of it.

Looks like the 04-08 style hooks mount the same. anyone verify?

I believe I had the older longer ones. From what I've seen, they mount exactly the same.

Thank you to everyone for so much info on this subject! Got this mod done a few weekends ago. I got the u-bolts from a local spring shop and the tow hooks from ebay.

i use a d-ring as well. they're strong as hell.
