Upon searching thru past threads on the topic, the Raptor hood will not fit a standard F150. I was looking at a Suncoast Custom (ram air) hood, which has the functional intake vents on the top, however it's a bit too rich for my blood at this point.
As for that gap, that's a valid point. I may end up having to do a bit of fiberglass body work. I've had to put the project on hold lately though as my small business has started turning into a larger business, haha. No complaints I guess, but not to worry, this will happen one day!

Congrats on the bump in business. Let me know when you get a chance to get going on this, and if you want any images, let me know. I'll be glad to do mock up whatever you have in mind.

PS. Here's the smaller grill with chrome FORD logo you were talking about in the original post:

McNeil Racing makes a "raptor" grille for the 2011 F150. I got my Ranger to Raptor Conversion from them. here is a link to the photo

No sure where you're searching, however .....

The Raptor hood does fit the standard F-150. You will, however, HAVE to use Raptor grille.

the extra width on the Raptor is outside the headlights (fenders only) that means the grill will fit, you'll just have to either modify your hood or use a Raptor hood as others have posted.

The arch of the fenders is slightly different for the Raptor... so the Raptor hood will not fit with the regular fenders...

That's a shame that would look awesome. I like the look of the second one for the poll.
