Default Raptor grill lights on non Raptor. Yes or No?

I've been going back and forth about this mod for a couple weeks. I'm considering doing the three grill amber led's to mimic the Raptor lights. I know my opinion is the only one that matters but is it frowned upon, especially by Raptor owners?

I'd have to build a custom bracket and would be using these lights (black base w/ 4 amber led's:

Here is the truck:

Who cares what other people think, until they start making payments on it I do what I want. After all beauty is in the eye of the beholder isn't it?

I agree 100%

I find myself drooling over the front view of the Raptor, especially at night. It doesn't help that I live in a town of 3000 people and there is a black scab, white scab and a blue flame screw I see everyday.

I guess this isn't the hot button subject I made it out to be in my head. I still encourage the poll.

I like them and would consider putting them on my Fx4.
What purpose do they serve on a Raptor? I'm sure they aren't there just to look pretty on a purpose built truck.

Ive seen a couple of guys put them along the edge of the air damn and that looks pretty cool too.

Due to the width of the vehicle they are DOT regulated. 3 in the grill combined with the two under the headlight, same with the 2 under the tails and the 3 in the 3rd brake light. Consider them a cooler version of cab lights.

For our trucks, it's purely for looks.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Anyone have any close pics of the lights and the measurements?

To the OP, do whatever you'd like, I think it'll look great

Are you wanting those specific lights you posted or just want the Raptor lights?

Here are the actual Raptor grille lights: Part # AL3Z-15442-C

I'll go after market, at $53 each it's not worth it to me. With the other lights, all install equipment I'm looking at a $25 investment.

I'm thinking the same. Probably lights from somewhere like walmart or napa, a bracket to hold em and some wiring and I'll be done.
