Yeah, I spliced into the side marker on the passenger side. You have to pull the headlight out to do it. If you buy the kit from Bowhunter3D, he emails you an instruction sheet. This is how I ran my wire.

Which kit? If you want the one I used just email him, he sends you a PayPal invoice and it's done. I understand the DIY method is cheaper but for $60 this was well worth it to me. I'm not that handy and I had it done in an hour. I soldered and used liquid electrical tape on the connections. I personally think that is the best method.

This is the one I got too off of EBay. Real easy to install.

60 dollars is way more than 20 for the same ammount of work. All you have to do is mount the lights you bought ground them. Then run a wire to the lights. Easy

Yeah, like I said if you're comfortable with DIY then by all means do it. I am not. I was just trying to give people an idea of what the kits look like installed. $60 is worth it for me to bolt it on & splice a couple wires.

I'm not trying to argue but I think there's a little more involved with it like: cutting the bracket, mounting the LEDs and wiring the LEDs to the adapter. To each their own but as I said before, I could not have made this kit myself. By the time I bought the LEDs, aluminum, wire, connectors, paint, wire loom & zip-ties, it was worth it for ME to buy this kit already made and ready to bolt on.
