Hey Wanna Ride here's the pics of the organizers. Although I'm not done with them I want to show what it will look like.

i remember him sending me that before just couldn't find it. how did yours turn out? mind snapping a photo of what the sides look like on yours? Just curious what the finished product will look like. I am debating doing this and rather than painting it, vinyl wrapping the pieces. hopefully that will help keep it all together

I'll be damned - those are just about perfect! I scoured Walmart, and every other store for a couple months looking for something that already existed of those same dimensions, and never could find anything that close. Nice job on finding those!

Here's the part where you guys are going to kick me. I had acquired a couple different consoles from eBay, while I was doing my conversion. One had some parts I needed, and the second one had other parts. Then I also located one on Craigslist, locally. It was too good of a deal to pass up, and it had a lot parts with it too.

Somewhere in all the parts collecting, I had acquired two sets of ducts, two whole consoles, one of the trays that fits where the switches normally go, and two sets of the plastic kick panels. I had posted some of that stuff on here in the classifieds and surprisingly, no one ever contacted me with interest to buy that stuff. Fast forward about a year or more, to a couple weeks ago when I was cleaning out the garage.... Yep, I threw out the spare console and all the parts I had. The ducts, the brackets, the kick panels, the outlets. Sorry. You know what they say, as soon as you throw it away, you're going to need it.

As for your new tray, there's another option you can look into for covering the interior of it. I can't immediately recall what the material is called, but it's very similar to the stuff used for the lining of jewelry box drawers. It's not a cloth, but a brushed on material, if I remember correctly. I've seen the finished results that others have use it, but I personally, have not. It does make for a nice finish, as opposed to paint. Just an option you may want to look into.

liinxcore I haven't finished that part yet, sorry! Vinyl wrapping the pieces sounds like a kool idea.

Rather than vinyl you may want to consider the non-skid mat material that's used in (say) tool box drawers to line your tray(s). It's inexpensive and readily available at Harbor Freight in rolls | mats.

I would be concerned about having smooth corners and the seams where the mat would meet. That's why I was thinking of something that could be sprayed on, seems like it would be a more uniformed, finished look.
