The verdict is in. This was absolutely worth it. It took the exhaust shop less than 20 minutes to install it and weld it in. Everything lined up perfectly, and since it wasn't any more work, I had him take out the resonator as well. At idle it is much deeper sounding than stock. It has a great growl now under hard acceleration, but sounds stock when cruising with zero drone. From memory, I'd say it sounds almost exactly like the stock Raptor I test drove.

So for $140, I've now got a great looking and great sounding exhaust on my truck. I highly recommend this mod to anyone looking for a budget exhaust improvement.
