I got my truck Saturday and the only thing I didn't like was the aftermarket HID kit in the headlights (one was out) and the flow master super 40 with just the elbow so it is as loud as possible under the cab. So First thing Sunday I replaced the headlights with factory bulbs and today I took the truck to the muffler shop to have a factory exhaust put on. Long story short I got a call from the guy at the shop that he had recently taken off an exhaust from a Raptor and he could put it on my truck for $150. DONE! Here are some pics. Now all i have to do is fix the heated and cooled seats that stopped working this morning.

It Sounds a lot like stock just a little more throaty, especially around 1700-1900 RPMs. At highway speeds it sounds stock which is what I took it in for in the first place. A flowmaster 40 was fun when I was 18 and only drove around town but hauling around co-workers and vendors I need to actually hear what they're saying. This looks cool and sounds different but not noticeably more so than stock.

Glad to see so many others doing this, awesome inexpensive mod. I took mine back to the muffler shop I use and had them bring up the two rear hangars about 2 inches. I didn't like how far it hung down, and it looks much better now. Just something to consider, there's more play in it than it appears

^^^
That thought occurred to me too, as these few pics (of several taken after install 2 days ago) shows. Sure sounds sweet though and I'm well-pleased...

Can you send pics of how yours looks being tucked up a little tighter. Wondering if it is worth the hassle?

Sure thing, they're filthy from all the rain lately, but you get the idea.
