Raptor console mod in a 2011 Super Crew
I've never really liked the jumpseat/console, and I've been researching the Raptor mod. So I snagged one off of e-Bay, and it cam in today. The seller had several of them, but their shipping methods are ridiculous, overpriced, and painfully slow, so I just can't pass on their contact info to any members. No one deserves that kind of seller.
Anyways, I didn't get a pic before removing the light-switch panel, but here it is, as I received it today...
The first thing I want to share, (because I wanted to know as well!), is that any F150 ignition key (of same vintage) will work in the lock, it locks and unlocks perfect! So there's no need to re-key the console lock, that's a big bonus.
It's in really good condition, just needs top be wiped down, but no scratches or gouges anywhere. I'm not converting to a console shifter, so I didn't need to buy a console, complete with shifter handle, cable, etc.
I don't want the Raptor light-switch panel, and would much rather convert that space to storage. So off comes the switch panel and mounting tray...
I located another console locally for a good price, and it has some of the other pieces I'm going to need, so I'm snagging it up this weekend. At this point, I now have about $240 in everything. Not too bad, and I'll still need more parts, but I'll also sell the jump-seat to offset the project costs.
I'll have more to add to this thread but it's going to be slow going, since there's so much other stuff going on with work, and other unrelated projects.

Does anyone have a good source for the two dash pieces, that will attach to the console? The ones that are on each side of the radio/climate cluster?

Ah. Oh well then. I was probably going to have to fab up my own panel and box for them anyway. Just looking to come up with an OEM look for my AUX switches when I get around to needing them. Thanks though!

Yeah, every once and a while you'll come across great deals on eBay... This isn't one of them.
You may get lucky at salvage yards, I've seen a few totalled Lariats with great interiors still.
