If you are looking at spending $20k why don't you grab a couple turbos! Besides an exhaust kit, there really isn't that much to do. You could make a legal copy of the Raptor XT I suppose...

Turbos! with an off road rack on top and lights. Low profile toolbox and cb whips along with rims and tires and tune.

I do but its an unproven engine, and as always ford has a learning curve. Add 200hp to 400 and that is 600hp......... I will never require or want that much HP in a DD vehicle, just my opinion.

What are your plans for the truck? Easy to say wanna drop 20k into it but gotta figure out what you want from it first. Instant torque? Mid powerband power? Are you wanting to stay N/A? Or go f/i? Or just make it a one of a kind custom truck that will win awards everywhere but rarely see o/r duty?

There's tons of options.

40k for a raptor and then another 20k for mods..........what a waste of money....

You can build a real off-road truck for that kind of money....
