I have been thinking of getting the badge also. But I was thinking about putting it on the tailgate, that way people would know what just went screaming by them

So are the Ford 6.2L badges still only available in that gun-metal gray color from the Raptor? Ford doesn't make a chrome version?

(I'm aware there are aftermarket options like Billet Badges.)

I like the 6.2 badge. It's not really a "Raptor" badge... it's a v8 6.2 Liter engine badge, that they also put on the raptors. Now if it said Raptor all over it, that'd be a different story.

I don't know if anyone else has done this before......but I took a raptor badge and modified it to go on my 2014 FX4. I decided to go with the single badge on the tailgate. I contemplated the idea of putting it on the front fenders but it looked to busy there. The script size is different on the fenders so it just looked like it didn't belong there. It just so happens that the script size of the raptor badge matches the F150 badge on the tailgate. It's hard to get an exact color match but I think it matches up pretty well. I'm happy with it.

Was thinking the same, now i can see it on a FX4 or Lariat since there are other motor options.
