Random Temperature After Shutdown/Startup

I still have the issue and it HAS NOT been resolved. I am going to have to wait until after boating season to bring my truck back in as I DO NOT want them holding my truck in the shop to diagnose the issue.
I can reproduce the issue at will by starting the truck, then stop the engine, pull out the key and restarting the truck and boom...this is the same as before.

I think mine was user error. I paid close attention to things, and realized the temp **** was getting inadvertently adjusted. We toss gloves, hats, etc on the console below the temp ****. As I start the truck, or as I turn it off, we were either tossing something there or grabbing it, and lightly rubbing against the temp **** which changed the settings.
Bob Mac - I hope you get yours resolved.
