Default Random Temperature After Shutdown/Startup

Running errands Friday with several stops I had the AC set on 72 all day. After one stop I took a phone call and didn't realize any change in temperature. When the call ended, my wife asked if we could turn the air back down. I looked down and saw the temp on 84! Neither of us had touched the dial all day. The first time this happened (weeks ago) I thought I might have reached down to change the volume on the radio and accidentally turned the temp ****. This time I know I didn't touch any dials.

Has anybody else seen anything like this?

When I first bought my truck back in April it did that a few times, but it hasn't done it since I did a reset on the MFT.

I'm getting this too and sometimes the AC isn't even running. Truck goes in on Tuesday so let's see.

Are you taking it in for this reason?

Yes, I just did the 3.6.2 Update and it didn't change anything. I also noticed this happens with the remote start as well.

What do you mean reset? I installed 3.6.2 shortly after it released. That process rebooted it several times and reset some (but not all) settings.

Please let share what you find out. This more of an annoyance than anything.

I agree with jmpx69, if all it takes is a reset than I am for it. I also did the 3.6.2 update so K9-Ex, can you elaborate?

jmxp69 and Bob_Mac,

I'd like to lend a hand. Could you please PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info?

I just pulled the battery cable off for a while and when the system reset after putting it back on it never did it again.

Ashley, Thanks for the offer of help, information sent. As I indicated in the PM though, I'm not interested in investing 3 hours it would require to take this to dealer for troubleshooting. If there's something I can do in my driveway great.
