Ranch Hand Bumper Replacement
I had these on all of my diesels in the past and highly recommend. They are the best built from my personal experiences. They stand up very well to trees, cars, etc. however, they do look better once the vehicle is lifted. Now being that my experience is with super duty, I bet that a leveling kit would get the look that you want.
Probably not an issue in Texas but I should point out that the aluminum ones last much longer in winter climates where they use salt. Painted metal gets chipped and dinged and quickly rusts and looks like crap in a couple years and then you need to remove it and have it professionally painted. Aluminum is just aluminum and easy to polish yourself without removing. Something to think about for guys in northern climates. I polish mine once a year and had it for 3 years and it looks just as good as the day I put it on .
Do you plan on doing a rear bumper as well? I want to get heavy duty bumpers for my truck but I've got the chrome bumpers so I can't paint to match the rear like you did. Plus I'm not a fan of chrome anyway.
Its people I'm worried about, but I leave in my 3 ball receiver hitch, it saved me once years ago! Turned a corner at night in the rain with my blinker on in my old blazer. Some car hits me as I'm just turning and pushes my rear end sideways. The guy who got me didn't stop but there was no damage to me, pretty sure he lost a radiator, lol
