Did you call iron cross directly? I believe I only paid 65 usd for mine. They were great to deal with.

Sorry for the revival but I had a question for the rampage owners. I saw on one of the sites selling these that the actual steps were plastic on the over the metal bars, at least on a ram. Is this true for the f150?

I have a king ranch so I was planning on painting these pale adobe. Kind of uneasy painting them if they are partly plastic. Worried about adhesion.

Thanks.

I'd like to know this too. I like how these look.

IMO: if its just the pad part that is black plastic, I think it would look just fine with the bar beneath it being pale adobe... good actually... and you would not have to worry about repeated entry causing it to wear through where you step all the time.

They're more rubbery than plastic. But yes they are not all metal.

Hmm that's what I was afraid of. Definitely don't want to paint that. Does it come off with screws or something?

Thanks for your response

I thought of that but I'm having a hard time picturing it. I guess it would look okay? I don't want it to stand out too much.
