Default Need Advice: Ruby Red or Blue Jean Metallic

Well I have decided that the deals are too good to pass up currently and I am going to trade in my 2013 XLT for a 2014 XLT. My current truck is oxford white with the silver two tone paint.

I would like to know from any current Blue Jean or Ruby Red owners, how they like their perspective color choice. I am leaning towards ruby red but I really cant make my mind up. The dealer has twin trucks in each color so that isnt helping things.

I am mainly concerned with how visible swirl marks are on each color?

Also does anyone have any experience with the leather seats that comes equipped in the new XLTs? I am concerned with how it will hold up and if it will crack easily. My current cloth seats are still in excellent shape after almost 2 years.

PSUcival I got the ruby red xlt super crew, I was in the same boat, Ruby red or gem green, I like the ruby red . Last truck was oxford white. As far as the swirls in the paint don't know that yet lol, Only 2700 miles on this one. And I think the ruby red is a 300 dollar option.

I vote leather is you are willing to take care of it and can get AC Seats!!!!
The seats in our Expy do need a lot of care but not as bad as a king ranch would...

I can't help on the color, I always go black, white or gray just to make resale easier... Can't seem to keep a truck longer than 2 years! LOL

I vote blue jeans.

Reason being, be different. Although I love ruby red(my next truck will probably be that color) it is overwhelmingly popular now. And when you look up code RR in the color chip books at my work, ruby red says "most models" like Oxford white, ebony black, and tux black. They are used on most of Ford's fleet.

Whereas blue jeans(if I know this forum like I do, someone will correct me if I'm wrong), is only on the F- series

I vote Blue Jeans. That is what I got this go around with my 14 XLT, had my 12 in a Sterling Gray which I loved , but now I'm tired of looking at them.

O also vote blue jeans if it has the silver accent stripe. Also the leather is pretty good.
That is what I have so maybe a little biased.

I love my Blue Jean and have always hated red vehicles (my preference) due to the cop magnetism effect as well as the oxidation.
