I ordered a set from 4wheelonline.com and they arrived today. I have the same issue - the bolts are only 1/2" long. Must be a defective batch. Does not inspire confidence in the overall product.

So i returned the rampage running boards. The first issue, the lags were not sufficiently long enough to use all intended hardware. Rampage wanted to send a new version of hardware (lock-nut washer/ nut combination) that was lower profile. I think i would have been okay w/ that until i test-fitted the boards and saw the second issue, the boards did not bump up to frame of truck to help w/ support and flex of boards when stepped on. since i had a gap of 3/8", the boards flexed quite a bit. They look great, just too many issues for me to want to permanently install them. Now the search begins again.

Damn. I was about to pull the trigger on these until I read the last two pages. I found them on 4wheelonline for 175 shipped.

My dealings with 4wheelonline have been a nightmare. I will never buy another thing from them ever again. And this still isn't resolved because they want to hold out to receive a detailed report from Rampage Products on my return even though Rampage has told them that the nerf bars are defective (from the pictures I sent them). Even after 4whelonline receives a report from Rampage, they want 10 days to issue a refund to me. This is after I've been shifted around to 4 different departments and 2 weeks of time just to get permission to send the defectve nerf bars back. Pathetic company.

ya i almost bought some wheels from them a few months back but was lucky enough to be able to cancel them due to my order being on "back-order" for so long. read a lot of negative reviews. especially about returning items. I was treated like sh** as well. especially when i told them i wanted to cancel. was hung up on several times. sketchy company. i did get my money back though.

So is there any place that I can get these rampage steps from that will not be defective and will bolt up correctly without any issues at all? I'm leveling out the truck and putting new shoes on and would like to get rid of the factory running boards. I would do away with them completely(which I am for a little) but my wife is only 4'9" and has an issue as it is getting in.
