I'll keep this thread updated. If you purchased yours from AutoAnything then Alex is the go to guy. He is handling my issue. I'm not really interested in going through the install process again either, but it bothers me now that I know it's there.

I got off my *** and emailed them myself with a couple pics. I told them that Alex was working on this issue with you as well. Thanks for getting the ball rolling. I really dont want to take the old ones off, but I am a bit annoyed that they didn't look right from the start.

Ok...looks like Alex from AutoAnything worked with Rampage to get me a new set. Rampage wants BOTH sides back and they are providing me a pre-paid Fedex label. Cant say Im looking forward to going through the install process again but Rampage is stepping up so I 'spose I cant complain.

Update...shipping on the new steps is apparently delayed and they wont ship until Friday, which really pisses me off since I pulled them off my truck and shipped them back ASAP in anticipation of a quick turnaround time. Per Rampage:

We were closed since Christmas Eve, we were back in the office as of Monday. However we were in the middle of our annual inventory. We will be back in full operating order as of tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Since they didn't offer me expedited shipping I asked for it. Remains to be seen if I'll get it.

I like the looks of these but plastic steps would have to go. If I ordered them, I'd cut the plastic steps off and fabricate some steel steps and then have them Line-X'd.

Unless you're 500 lbs you aren't going to hurt these plastic steps. They are surprisingly sturdy. He'll you're more likely to bend the 2" tube before the step dies. However they are held in from underneath with only 4 or 5 screws. Only time will tell if the salt will rot the screws out.

Not worried about breaking them. AZ sun, UV's, etc. Reports of steps not centered on tube, etc.

I'd just remove them, design my own and weld new ones on.

To each their own.

Well the replacement steps are in transit but wont arrive until Wed 1/7. I cant give special kudos to Rampage for replacing them as it was an obvious manufacturing defect and SHOULD be replaced. I also have to give them a thumbs down for making no effort to expedite the shipping of the replacements. It'll be about 3 weeks without having steps and Im more than a tad annoyed.

So I'm out in a garage, wrestling these steps into place and I think I've encountered a serious problem.

Anybody have these installed with bushwhacker flares? The front end of my step is hitting the bottom of my front flare not allowing me to push the bolts thru.

If anybody has a solution I'd appreciate it
