Default Radio Swap Question

Is it possible to switch from a stock base model radio (single cd player no sync nothing) to one of the radios with sync and satellite radio? If so what all is needed to do a complete swap if anything at all? I know that I need the radio to start with.

you will also need the steering wheel with the controls and the mirror with the microphone. Seems like most of the wiring would already be there. I believe most manufacturers are making one wiring harness for a truck then hook up whatever you are buying on the truck. Not sure what the cost would be on all of this, though I'm sure it would be expensive.

WE happened to buy two trucks at the same time one with the whole package and the other as base as possible the one with the total package is having a lot replaced and most of the stock stereo equipment is coming out so it was really just a matter of is it possible
