Default Radio to Nav

Does anyone know what the cost would be to go from having this stock radio to the full Nav system? Or what would be better?

You would probably be better off getting a aftermarket nav. I'm sure the ford ones are really expensive and I don't think the are very good compared to kenwood or any of the big names. Just search for one of the factory set ups for sale and check prices.

I think that would be best too, but I know I'm gonna lose my Sync capability. How can I do that and still keep Sync?

I believe there is a way to keep sync and steering wheel controls. There are a ton of threads somewhere around here I'll look and post one.

Here's a link to crutchfield about keeping sync, http://www.crutchfield.com/ISEO-rgbt...nc-system.html

And here's one from this forum, https://www.f150forum.com/f38/ford-s...t-radio-87985/

Alpine if you have the coin is best... I have the pioneer 8000nex it's nice and all but pioneer is full of it half of it doesn't do what they advertise.

I just installed the Advent OFO1501 I got from Walt at ADC Mobile. Check it out. I got the head unit, a sirius radio and Ford backup camera for around $1600.

Prices go from $300 up to 2k depending on what you want.

I have a Kenwood with Garmin built in. I lost sync but didn't care as I wasn't fond of it but there are new harnesses that allow you to keep sync with aftermarket HU.

I bought the Advent because it was the most compatlble with Sync. But it's been around for a few years and lacks some of the cool features the newer units have. I kinda with I'd have waited and bought a Kenwood. I think I'd rather have given up Sync and had more features. You might go to Kenwoods sight and check them out.
