Radio install help?
So I got my radio a pioneer x3700bhs
And I got the new radio bezel as well as the metra t-50-5812 the issue is it doesn't seem like the radio dash kit fits the radio! Or I'm Doing something wrong any help is appreciated
In the pics see how there is space around the plastic piece and the new bezel it sits really far below and a gap that doesent seem right,

It may sit better once installed but agree, ditch that one and get the one piece Scorche.

I had a Metra one in my F250 and it sucked. Fit very poorly. It would pop out sometimes if I hit a pothole and I'd have to punch it back in. I agree with these guys on avoiding Metra!

But will it fit the radio I have? The one I have is 6.2in I belive? Kinda sucks that's the one crutch field recommended. I'll face to check the schsche and see if they have silver kinda sucks I'm gonna have to wait till next weekend to install.

Yes it will. It's what they call a double din head unit and it will fit in the scorche no problems. I know you're disappointed but trust me, the wait will be worth it as the fit and finish will be way nicer than having that extra little trim ring in there.

I used the Metra kit on my install. I had to "fine tune" the fit a bit (put the four screws holding the adapter bracket in, snap the new bezel over, note how far off I was, and take the bezel back off, loosen the screws, adjust radio position, repeat) but the finished look was great.
I ended up doing it a second time after some jackwagon broke into my truck and tried to steal the stereo and instead just destroyed it and the dash. Used the Metra kit that time as well (State Farm paid for it), and had ZERO fitment issues. It's like their quality isn't consistent, the 2nd kit was a little bit better in fitment all around and went in much easier.
