Default Radio Silent when very Cold

My 2014 Raptor is doing exactly the same thing. When the temp is bellow freezing and you first start the engine all displays work but there is NO Audio. What seems to work is to allow the truck to warm up a little and then turn everything OFF. Turn Ignition off and then open and close a door so that the Sync screen turns off. Wait 20 or 30 seconds and then restart. Yesterday I downloaded the latest Sync software from Ford and installed it via the USB port. This morning on cold start NO Audio. The local dealer hasn't a clue. This is a real pain in the A**. $56K truck and you have to go through this BS to listen to the radio on a cold morning. By the way when this happens there is no audio from the nav system and cell phone either...

Hi Herb Belin,

I'd like to gather some information before recommending troubleshooting. Please PM your name, VIN, best phone number, and current mileage. I'd like to know what temperatures you have noticed these issues occurring at and how long it normally takes before the system will function properly again. The more details you share with me, the better!

Kim
