Radio didn't play when vehicle turned off "battery saver"

So they had the truck last wed-Friday, they assured me they finally found the issue. they said it was a software calibration issue with the BMS, they were able to verify the calibration was wrong. Well I told them I was 99% sure that the system had been recalibrated before a few times as its had 5 batteries in it so far, but they were insistent that this was the issue and the truck was fixed, they said they tested it over 2 days and service writer drive it home to make sure it was fixed. they washed it and filled it will fuel ( first time that has happened) well it was fine sat and sun and then sure as **** Monday I get to work I shut it off and am promptly greeted with "system off to save battery"...... WTF.. Tuesday morning same thing so obviously it still not fixed.........
so I sent a email back to the people at ford and they said they will look into the possibility of a "replacement vehicle" I have heard this story before with this truck and got nowhere with it at all so I have doubts that it will be any different this time but time will tell I guess......

I would hang in there since they offered to possibly get you into a different truck. I would press them on it and keep emphasizing how dissatisfied you are and that you really would like a NEW truck. I'd push for a 2015 seeing they've caused you so much trouble, time, and stress. They owe you in a big way! Don't let them charge you more to get into a new truck either, you haven't sued them yet and they owe you for all that inconvenience, lost time, and having to go back to the dealership so many times changing your schedule each time to do so. It's been a huge inconvenience finding other rides and or transportation altering your life.
Yeah time will tell I guess, the only thing working in my favor this time is I'm now working with the Ford CSM's boss as apparently the csm I was working with is out for an extended period of time so maybe this person can actually make it happen as their job title is higher on the food chain.
I pressed the previous CSM I was working with before for a buyback/replacement well over a year ago and they denied it after a 3 week review of my case. This person said my current request could be denied also, but she seems to be asking a lot more questions and is requesting stuff/info from the dealer itself and I'm pretty sure the previous person did not do any of that so it "seems" like I may be getting somewhere this time. But until my *** is sitting in a different drivers seat I'm not getting my hopes up......

You'd think that Ford would want to take that truck to a special diagnostic facility and set loose a team of experts to route out the problem as someone else mentioned a ways back in this thread. If I ran that company it would be a priority for me. It seems, there's always bean counters involved in these matters though? We'll all have to wait and see what they'll do for ya.

Wish I had the time to take my truck in whenever there's a problem. I can't see spending the time with this till someone says there's a fix. Just don't have the time to create a Lemon Law Case.
This is my first Ford and most likely my last. There's no excuse for requiring me to throw a charger on my battery if I'm not going to use it for 2 or 3 days.

I figured I'd give Ford another shot at asking if there were any updates or fixes to the "Battery Saver Alert". This is what I asked them: I have a 2013 F150 that is almost 2 years old. For almost all of that time I have had a "Battery Saver Alert" come up on my screen if I try to listen to the radio with the key off or if I just want to scroll through the options on the dash. I know a number of people who have 2011 - 2014 F150's & they don't have this issue. I have been to the dealer about 5 times with it & they are sick of me. The F150 Forum has over 130 pages of people with this problem. The dealer told when I was there for the problem the last time that the truck was engineered that way. Why doesn't everyone have this problem? Do you have a fix for it yet? Thanks.

Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company.
They can't or won't answer my question as to why not everyone has the problem. I have been fortunate to only have one battery replaced at this point but I sure wonder about ever buying another F150. I've bought F150's for over 30 years & always liked them.

funny they wont admit there is a problem, but they bought mine back because of this issue.i could have my truck die in three days with a fresh battery, jump it, take it back to the dealership and leave it for a month, they said they started it every day for a month straight (and put about 400 miles on it to boot) and still found nothing wrong with it. i go to pick it up and guess what pops up while sitting on the dealer's lot? the low battery message! drove it home with a fresh Optima red top battery compliments of Ford, three days later, DEAD AGAIN. thats when ford started talking numbers for me. maybe i should scan all 30 sum pages of my buyback agreement along with the apology letter and the check stub for $38,000 from ford motor company to this website and see if they affiliate themselves a little better.....

I have a yellow top and it is worse then the stock. I have two amps, two light bars and two sets of duallys. It was only -15℃ here in B.C. awhile ago and i had a complete dead battery only after 10hrs of it sitting over night
