Radio didn't play when vehicle turned off "battery saver"
#201
I think this is the battery sensor, although I can't find a part number on it. It looks like a current sampling ring. Second day after repair. Was running the Mrs around to pick up some stuff. Lots of stops where I sat in the truck listening to the radio. No problems. So far so good. Also no "low batt" this morning and the engine seems to crank more freely.

The p/n to be concerned with is BT4Z-14B357-C. It is what was replaced on my F150. I'm just guessing at the coil, but it might be a module in the same harness that belongs to this part number. I think it is still too soon to say this is definitely the fix. If I can go a week without this problem coming back, I will be satisfied that we've got it. I will keep updating as I know more.

Makes sense its something stupid like a sensor, It is not a failed battery issue.
I took ford battery out when I picked up truck and swapped it with the brand new 980 cca Odessey AGM I had in my trade-in.
no trouble then at 3 month mark in 80' degree weather it started to do the no radio, battery low crap, a couple mornings it wouldn't start. boosted the truck and unplugged my GPS. Since unplugging GPS \ parasitic draw it has never done it again.45 below zero and fires right up, and have not had the low battery thing again.
If its the sensor, wonder how many batteries ford has replaced over a sensor????

Four days since the repair and I sat listening to the radio for 20 minutes. So far the problem hasn't returned. Also haven't seen the "low batt" message since I got the truck back. This is the longest period of time I have gone without seeing the battery saver message.

Did they replace your battery at the same time also?
