Default Quick trip up Mt. Hood, Oregon

This was my first trip up the mountain with the ecoboost and man was it a blast! This engine does not struggle at all going up steep grades. My 2011 5.0 would rev like crazy going up the same route and the drone from my Flowmaster 40 series exhaust didn't make it any better lol. There wasn't any snow yet, but I can't wait to go back up when there is. 1500 problem free miles so far and no regrets, hopefully I didn't just jinx myself! Now, on to the pictures!

Awesome pictures and sharp looking truck! I wish I had those kind of photography skills. Just curious- your 5.0 struggled up the grades with no load, not even towing anything?

Haha I wish I had photography skills also. Picture cred goes to my fiancé! By no means did my 5.0 struggle. It just did the job at a higher RPM, which is normal for that engine.

I'm a converted Oregonian. Moved from Hawaii to go to college and ended up staying after I graduated. This is my first time going up to Mt. Hood in the summer, so I didn't even know they had stuff to do until now. I just saw a video of alpine slides and it looks fun! Definitely go an try and hit it up the next opportunity I get

I've been to Oregon once and fell in love with where I visited, but moved from Hawaii?! Nonsense!! Just kidding.

I would've moved back if I could find a good paying job and if EVERYTHING didn't cost an arm and a leg lol. Each state has its pros and cons
