Default AIRBAG light stays on??

2011 Eco boost, air bag light came on the other day. Doesn't blink just stays on, is this a known problem with a solution? Or do I need to take it to the dealer? I do not have warranty remaining

Jiggle the yellow connector under the driver's seat.

Disconnect the battery before messing with the sensors.

This happened in another car I had...

Problem: found to be a bad sensor connection in the seat belt buckle
Solution: spray a little WD40 into the buckle. Actuate a few times (buckle/unbuckle).

Never another problem...

I hope it is that simple for you!

Happened to my truck. Intermittent at first, then constant. No amount of jiggling connectors or disconnecting/reconnecting connectors fixed it. I took it to Ford and they replaced the RCM (Restraint Control Module) under warranty.
