Straight pipes will result in a lose of driveability low end torque, mileage, pollute the air , and make you a candidate for a nice fat fine all for no reason. Brilliant idea. And I forgot , void your warranty.

It was just an idea. I haven't decided yet.... I have done it with all my trucks...well, all two of them. I had a 1988 1/2 that had straight pipes. That 5.0 sounded good! I also have a 1999 Ranger (3.0 V6) with straight pipes. But, Like I said...Just an idea.....

The only o2 sensors that you would need to bypass would be the after cats. All you really need to do is use a resistor, but not sure on the exact resistance needed. They also sell o2 simulators that are popular in the mustang crowd that should work. Some tuners will also allow you to bypass the after cat o2's, thats what i used on my truck
