Default quick leveling question 2wd

2012 FX2 can I install a 3" level kit without any issues??? I know 4wd's have issues with hitting control arms.. I have a 2.5" front with 1.5" block in the back and it has a little to much rake still..

I don't think there would be any short term issues but a lot of people say 2.5" is the highest you should go. 3" will probably put your ball joint at too high of an angle. If you do go 3" it will definitely ride worse IMO.

Another option is to take out the rear block and replace it with a stock 4x4 which is 1.25" or buy a 1" one.

definitely would opt for the smaller block. 3" is just too far out of spec for my comfort level IMO. There's always the Baja 4" spindle but those are $$$

It seems the consensus is < 3" of front level to prevent excess premature wear. I looked at the 4" spindle lift, but decided against it as it pushes the front wheels out an inch or 2

I would love to see pics once its done. I was also curious if you can get the measurements before and after?

I actually have the 3" procomp on my truck now and its really hard for me to tell the difference from the 2.5 I had on my old 2012.
