Yes, this is for one housing which doesn't have all the other stuff you need!

The ones on RR are custom stock housings as mentioned hence the $1800. You should be able to find a stock set with harness between $900-1300.

Check out Projectoretrofit.com. That 575 is just for the left housing.

My bad looking at Tasca, seemed to be complete assembly but tried calling a few times to inquire with no luck. Should have bought from RR a month ago when they were $1350.

If you look around you can find used ones cheaper. I've been waiting over a year for a deal. Finally found a set with ballest bulbs and harness for 650. Picking em up Friday

just a thought, but why not get a OEM halogen housing retrofit with HID projectors? cheaper than both options and looks much better than both. I'll post pictures of the ones that Dawson just sent me this afternoon when I get home.

That is subjective, for me the retro's don't look near as good as OEM.

This is true, I really prefer the custom look of retros to stock! Now customized stock HIDs, now we're talking but that's up towards the $2k range!

You are correct that it is subjective, as with anything that has to do with the senses and not science. That being said, there are some horrid retros out there, and there are a handful of nice ones. I think mine turned out amazing, but think it's the color scheme that made it work well. You can give me your opinion when I get viable pictures posted.
