Arrow Questions about new 2012 FX4

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and had a few questions.

I've been talking with the local dealer for a loaded 2012 FX4 supercrew with a sticker price of 51k. After my A plan and $3750 in rebates I'm down to 39k. I'm also trading in a car for 8k so my total financed would be 34k after fees and taxes.

Question is can I get anything in addition to what I have already on the table? Can I possibly get a free extended warranty if I ask? Can I get the vehicle price lower than the A plan pricing? I've never bought a brand new vehicle so I don't know if there is anymore wiggle room besides getting a bit more for my trade.

Thanks guys!

A plan is pretty much a straight forward deal. It's 100 over employee. Sounds like a great deal IMO

I'm in/will be in a similar situation. If nothing on the 2013MY interests you then go for it if you need it now. If you wait another couple of months you may have some better incentives, (maybe another 2000?) BUT - your Trade In Value will go down some, and you may not be able to get the exact truck you want.

Just curious - do you have a Ford $750 coupon from the brochure? It says you can't use it with A\X\Z Plan but some dealers still let you.

The $750 is extra cash if I trade in a vehicle. I asked about coupon and was told I couldn't use it if I was a plan. What's new on 2013?

that deal looks great. Maybe you can wiggle more for your trade in. Get it to the finance office and just sit there saying your $600 over what you can afford and see if you can get that added on your trade.

That's one expensive FX4 though, 51k, see if the sticker shows the spray undercoat and fabric protection and tell them to take that all off the price.

I bought my '12 FX4 Supercrew in Feb, Stkr $46,005 less $1k credit for Lux pkg or $45,005, Xplan just over $41k, $2k rebate,$1k Trade Assistance,$1k FMCC,$750 Brochure Coupon and $500 Bonus Cash I got in mail the week I was looking. I traded in my '03 Supercrew FX4 so I had $10k equity, I paid the sales tax difference via check. They added a bedliner/splash shields/bug deflector for $995 (neog that to $595) It worked out to a $45,005 sticker, down to $41k Xplan, less $5250 incentives less my $10k equity, plus $595...and the $100 for paperwork. I financed $26,695 +/- ( give or take, under $27k sticks in my head), then refi'd thru my Credit Union for 2.75%. I'm happy!

Yeah it's pretty loaded. I have the invoice, I'll list the MSRP.

S/crew 145 - 40k
EcoBoost -$1100
Sony Nav - $2500
FX running boards - $455
Moonroof - $1000
FX luxury - $3325
Tailgate step - $375
20 in wheels - $895
Trailer brake - $230
Destination and delivery $995

Also, the vehicle is in another city. How does it get here? Does someone drive it or is it shipped?

Ohhh. Maybe I can get them to throw in a tonneau cover or bed liner. Anyone had any parts thrown in for free?
