Do you have them wires with the headunit or did you add an amp to those?
I see no reason the C2-650 will not work. You just need to buy/make an adapter plate for the mid. I actually have the C2 tweeters and the C3-570 mids and crossovers (C3 tweeters are to large). I have the Kicker Soundgate Powerstage setup so mine are powered by the 50wx4 DSP amp from the kit. However, I'm sure the JLs will be a big upgrade even just running off the head unit. Here's a picture of my C2 tweeters flush mounted:

Plus crutchfield gives free instructions, wiring harness and mounts.
Hi Matt, I looked on Crutchfield's site and it says that these speakers will not fit a 2014 w/Sony. I am in the hunt for new speakers and have always liked Infinity, so I'm interested in these. What adapter did you need to buy and from where? Did you run new speaker wire to/from the tweeters/crossover? Thanks!

Thanks a TON. I will be purchasing tomorrow morning a set of c3-650s
I'm pretty big into JL, I hope I can run them fine with my headunit for the meanwhile.
Those pillars look awesome btw.

I too have infinity 5X7/6X8s in the doors. There model 6932CF. Which ones do you have? Also could you give me a model number to the tweeters you have? Where they a noticeable upgrade from stock?

This what I have. Nice improvement over stock. Just need to swap out the Tweeters and Subwoofer.

Can't answer what it takes to wire the tweeters, that's a answer is like to know as well.

Be aware that the C2 and C5 tweeters are .75" and the C3 tweeters are 1" and way to big to flush mount in the a pillar. That's why I have C2 tweeters and C3 mids lol.

Maybe but I don't think it would look that good. I had to move a significant amount of material with the Dremel to get my C2s to fit and my C3s dwarfed them. If you look the picture I posted the JL bezels fit the A pillar perfect. Add another .25" or more to them and I think the bezels would overhang. I'm just speaking from experience on flush mounting the JL tweeters. I have no clue how 1" tweeters from other companies would fit.

You can. I did exactly that and left the stock tweeters in place. It sounds noticeably better. I also replaced the rear door speakers as well. Left the tweeters, sub and head unit stock.

For $100-$300 (depending on how high-end you go on speakers) and an afternoon of your time, a straight speaker swap is totally worthwhile.

For the record, I'm in my mid-50's and worked around turbine engines when I was young. I'm sure my hi-freq hearing isn't what it used to be. Also, not a big subwoofer guy. Mostly they give me a headache. And I didn't want the hassle of swapping the h/u. It didn't seem worth it to me.
