Default Question about 2010 engine upgrade more power

Can any one give me any suggestions on how to get more power out of my 5.4L without swapping out the entire engine. If possible add a turbo or supercharger?

Yes Turbo and superchargers are in production. But we I'll run you 4k plus. Along with labor unless you do it yourself... but you can expect about 75hp and 100tq useing a conservative setup. If you push it harder with add-on like bigger fuel pumps and higher psi you could see 180+ hp gains along with 140+ tq gains. But at a risk of premature detonation.

What do you want the power for? Racing? Towing?

If you are willing to spend $4k for 75-100 more hp and ft/lbs of torque, might consider trading it in for an ecoboost or 6.2L. I put a tuner on mine and it woke it up a bit, I would say 35-50 hp and ft/lbs of tq. You can get them for $400 or less.

If you can, slap a s/c on it. I did and love it. Went with the procharger. dyno-d at 405hp and 420flbs to the ground....

I have the Superchips Cortex 1950, but only because I got a smokin deal on it. If I was going to get another one, I would get an SCT with custom tunes. I originally got the tuner more for the transmission tuning, but the extra pep is nice.

Put cai and exhaust with some kind of chip. This will make a descent difference. Then if you want more go with the supercharger. I know when the money comes I will be. Just for ****s and giggles
