Quesiton for my 09-and up friends...
I obviously don't have your guy's model of truck, but I had a question. When did the ecoboost enigne come out, 2011? Also, my main question, is it possible to get an 6.2 V8 ecoboost? I figured all ecoboost are V6's, but tell me a 6.2 with ecoboost wouldn't be sweet.
Not sure when the EB's were first released but the 6.2 isn't offered with it. Not actually sure they can do it.
I am ordering a tuner and CAI from 5Star hopefully today with plans to supercharge once my warranty is up. I am thinking the 6.2's iron block would handle that nicely.

I believe the EB engine first came out in the Taurus in 2009. The first F150 application was 2011.
The 6.2 couldn't be an Ecoboost because it wouldn't meet the criteria of the first syllable (Eco) lol.
I would think it could be Boosted with an aftermarket supercharger rather nicely.

Yeah, I knew the Taurus was the first to have, by the way, I can't wait till they start producing police inteceptors
. The only reason why I asked, and I knew it probably couldn't be done, was the fact of having a 6.2 twin turbo"ed". I mean I know its from the factory, and I know their trying to acheive MPG stats, but come on, we want power!

IF they ever do a high performance ecoboost V8 I highly doubt it would ever be the 6.2. It probably would be a much smaller block V8. I did mention in some other thread once that I thought a ecoboost V8 would be a logical choice for a new raptor engine. Can you imagine the HPs in a 5.0 eco !?
