Default Put her in the ditch tonight

Mostly going too fast for conditions on a backroad on the way home from work. Come over a hill and the road was drifted. Truck pulled towards the ditch and there I went. Luckily here in Southern WI there are nothing but fields (a reason for the drifts being as bad as they are).

Put her in 4WD and had to go about an 1/8th mile in the ditch before I could get out. Can't see any damage, just packed the front with snow.

And I suppose there's no video to go with the story ;-)

Here in California a drift has a somewhat different meaning.

We have about 5" on the ground but it drifts bad. The ditches are level with the road with snow. The snow was half way up my grill driving through the ditch. Had I not had the Duratracs on I would have been screwed!

And no, sorry no video, was just driving home from work.

I know, just kidding :-)
Would have been cool to see it plowing through though.

The extremes some people will go just to find an excuse to go 4 wheeling.

Glad to hear you and the truck are fine.
